We offer patients with minor ailments appropriate treatment and advice direct from the pharmacy without the need to see a doctor. You can talk to our pharmacist in confidence without having to make an appointment. Please ask at the pharmacy and find out if you are eligible for the scheme.
Free* NHS Smoking Cessation Service
Want to give up smoking? Come and talk to our pharmacist and smoking cessation advisors who can help you with motivational and Nicotine Replacement Therapy support. (*Chargeable to NHS charge-paying patients.)
Emergency Hormonal Contraception (Morning After Pill)
Our pharmacist will supply Emergency Hormonal Contraception free on the NHS when appripriate to patients who require it, without a prescription. If we are unable to supply you with emergency hormonal contraception, we will direct you to other sources of help.
Chlamydia Testing and Treatment
We are able to offer a Chlamydia testing and treatment service within the pharmacy without having to see a doctor. Ask to speak to the pharmacist who will give you details of the service.
Free Blood Pressure Testing
Why not come and have your blood pressure checked? Many people are unaware that they have high blood pressure, and the risks associated with it remain untreated. The pharmacist will also help you with lifestyle advice to reduce it, if necessary.
